The second stage of this season’s Kunst!Rasen season is already underway (time flies!) after Thursday’s Klassik Piknik in the sun and Friday’s Passenger show come Zaz (Sunday), Hubert von Goisern (Monday) and the legendary Joan Baez (Wednesday and sold out I’m told!)
Lots still to enjoy down by the Rhine then…

Kunst!Rasen Update
New additions to the Open Air concert Season at Bonn’s Kunst!Rasen include a return appearance from Zaz (03.07), a first appearance by Beth Hart after her popular Crossroads show in 2011 at the Harmonie (23.07), and Heino – who’s new CD ‘Mit freundlichen Grüssen’, a selection of Rock cover versions, has put the normally more sedately paced German legend firmly back in the public eye (18.08).
Add to this BAP, Brings, Katie Melua, Santana, a Rock Night with Deep Purple and Gov’t Mule not to mention Crosby, Stills & Nash – there is a lot to look forward to along with the return of Summer to Bonn.
Big Plans – Kunst!Rasen 2013
Something for everyone. Music, Open-Air Cinema, Comedy, Good Food and Drink. After a first year of blood, sweat and tears just to get something off the ground after the final collapse of their Museumsplatz tent the organizers of Bonn’s Open Air Season have pulled out all the stops to put Bonn back on the International Musical Map.
Kunst!Rasen 2013 is set to prove that Music is Fine down by the Rhine next year.
Zaz at Kunst!Rasen
The man in the front row with the red heart-shaped balloon is sure of it: ‘Ich Liebe Dich’ it says. Behind him are some 7000 people who are sure of it too. If you love beautiful songs, beautifully sung then you’d love her too. Zaz was back in Bonn on Sunday and even the Sun had his hat on at Kunst!Rasen for the Show.

Zaz – Dans ma rue and in our town
Win a talent competition, get a contract with Sony, become a big star. It all sounds so easy. Why isn’t everyone doing it? Well, because sometimes that little word ‘Talent’ actually means something in these competitions – and on Friday, in front of a huge Museumsplatz crowd, the young French sensation Zaz wrote the word ‘Talent’ in large font, block capital letters.
