Brings – Open the Season on 7th June
Something for everyone. Music, Open-Air Cinema, Comedy, Good Food and Drink. After a first year of blood, sweat and tears just to get something off the ground after the final collapse of their Museumsplatz tent the organizers of Bonn’s Open Air Season have pulled out all the stops to put Bonn back on the International Musical Map.
Kunst!Rasen 2013 is set to prove that Music is Fine down by the Rhine next year.
“Jesus died for somebody’s sins…” say the T-shirt fronts on the merchandise stall – “…But not mine!” say the backs. The signature under the words is that of Patti Smith. Not even a Month old and Bonns Kunst!Rasen welcomed a third American Rock Legend peering out from it’s steep stage, and as the slogan suggests, Smith still has plenty to say and she pulls no punches saying it.
29 June is start date for Bonn’s new Open-Air venue the Kunst!Rasen.
As our pictures show, things are taking shape down by the Rhine as technicians and stage builders set up the new venue for Lou Reed, Zaz, Bob Dylan and co.
Latest addition to the new open-air venue in Bonn ‘Kunst!Rasen’ is Patti Smith, appearing on 9 July. The ‘Godmother of Punk’ as Smith has been labelled currently has just three concerts listed on her website so this one is likely to be popular!
Patti Smith joins Zaz, Jan Delay, Finnish Pop Band Sunrise Avenue, and Lou Reed amongst the top acts appearing at Bonn’s all new Concert venue on the Rhine.
