British Blues Kings

Coulson,Nimmo,Proctor - all winners!

And the winners are… Coulson,Nimmo,Proctor

It’s not often that I get to display a picture showing three award winners together but here it is!

Congratulations to Scotland’s Finest King King for picking up six nominations and taking home four trophies at this years British Blues Awards:  Best Band, Best bass player (Lindsay Coulson) Best drummer (Wayne Proctor) and Best Keyboard (Bennet Holland).  Alan Nimmo was just pipped at the post by the excellent Chantel McGregor for best guitarist and the equally excellent Ian Siegal for Best Vocalist.  If you want to see if it’s all hype (it isn’t!) you can catch the band live in Cologne’s Yardclub this November.

Other deserved Awards by musicians who have played here in Bonn include Walter Trout (Best International Artist), Henrik Freischlader  (International Artist,Runner Up), Dani Wilde (Female Vocalist,Runner up) and brother Will Wilde (Harmonica Player,Runner Up).

A great bunch of musicians and winners all!
