Simply Red are coming to Bonn for KUNST!RASEN’S 15th anniversary on 7th July 2027. Planning for the Season 2027 is already underway, with concerts taking place from July 4 through August 29. Mick Hucknall and co last performed at KUNST!RASEN in July 2023. With their “Summer Funk Tour 27,” Simply Red are building on the success of their sold-out arena tours and 40 years of success with their blend of Soul, Pop and elegant ballads.
Hucknall enthuses: “We can’t wait to perform live again in the summer of ’27“. and promises “A show full of hits (including ‘Money’s too tight to mention’) that will keep you on your feet in sunny weather with friends and family”. He shrugs off his 66 years saying “I still feel the same as I did in 1985.”
Anyone who has seen Mick Hucknall perform live in the past knows his stage presence: He gives his all to meet his fans’ expectations. The band includes Ian Kirkham (saxophone), Kenji Suzuki (guitar), Kevin Robinson (trumpet, horns, percussion), Roman Roth (drums), Gary Sanctuary (keyboards), and Orefo Orakwue (bass).

Already planned for 2027 are: Die Fantastischen Vier on July 23, 2027, which is already sold out. Advance tickets are on sale for the Rheinkilometer 652 festival, featuring Paula Hartmann and Dilla, among others.
The traditional KLASSIK!PICKNICK with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn will kick off the series on July 4.
