Over The Border – Highlights Still to Come

There are some old friends still to come on this years ‘Over The Border Festival’ who I can warmly recommend getting tickets for. Ismael de Barcelona‘s fiery Flamenco appearances have made him a firm favourite locally. Marion & Sobo have long established themselves as one of Bonn’s premier Global Music/Acoustic Jazz duos and the sheer power and exhuberance of The Trouble Notes built around Bennet Cerven makes them a ‘must see’ (I still wear my ‘Violins not Violence’ t-shirt with pride!) not to mention the excellent Lina Bö

RECOMMENDED…

A musician playing a guitar in a cozy setting, focused on his performance with an attentive audience in the background.
Ismael de Barcelona – 27.03.26 (Lutherkirche Cologne)

A male guitarist in a blue shirt and vest performs on stage alongside a female singer with long hair, holding a microphone. The backdrop features the word 'Star' along with colorful graphics.
Marion & Sobo with Quedro Nuevo – 28.3.26 (Harmonie Bonn)

A musician energetically playing the violin on stage while a drummer is visible in the background, with colorful stage lights and a vibrant backdrop featuring text.
Trouble Notes with Lina Bö & Friends – 29.04.26 (Pantheon)
