As in previous years, Musik Unter Der Zeder outside of the Kleines Theater in Bad Godesberg has a welcome selection of familiar faces alongside some new names and music.

Proven local heroes like Marley’s Ghost, Melchi Vepouyoum, The Seven Sins, Handpicked, and to close the season on 26 August, The Marion and Sobo Trio will I’m sure not disappoint. Daria Assmus will be back too, but with a different band – Daria & The Groove Foundation. 

New (to me anyway!) are the Zed Mitchell Band who have played on bills with the likes of Joe Cocker, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa and BB King. There will be Jazz to enjoy in the Kurpark too with Chicago-born Soleil Nikllasson and her band and also Wolperath Jazz who promise to take the audience on a journey into ‘the endless World of Jazz’ with music from such a varied spectrum of legends as Pat Metheny, Charlie Parker and Ella Fitzgerald.
