Sad news today that ‘American Bob’ Maribito passed away on Saturday at the Waldkrankenhaus in Bad Godesberg. I last saw Bob at Bonn Folk Club in February putting out chairs for late-comers. The thing was, you rarely saw Bob actually sitting in a chair. I have fond memories of him dancing in the sunshine to music on the Bundeskunsthalle roof with ‘the girls’ as he would always point out with a smile.
