Twenty nine bands and an expected 15000 visitors – Rockaue 2017 on 8 July promises to be bigger and even better than before.
Headliners on the Main Stage will be popular German Rock Band In Extremo with a grand stage show. Amongst the top international acts appearing will be Canadians Danko Jones and recent Harmonie visitors Blues Pills.
A move towards being true to the festival name means the absence of an Electronic Beats stage this year and, in recognition of it’s popularity in the past the local music stage will be more centrally located. It also has a change of name to go with the change of location – The Talent Stage. Don’t be alarmed though because you will still find some of the best local music here: Capitano, Ultraschall, Heldenviertel and Suburbian Rex are amongst the familiar names to enjoy. Metalheads fear not, The Rock n Heavy Stage is back again too. Dinosaur Pile-Up and Louder than Wolves are amongst the more esoterically named bands taking part.
