It’s her ‘Fare Thee Well’ tour, so this might be the last chance to see Joan Baez, who recently announced she would not be touring extensively anymore – Roncalliplatz in Cologne on 3 August 2018.

Bonn Blues Festival

Now in it’s second year, The Bonn Blues Festival takes place on Friday (20 October) in Dottendorf.  Top local Bluesers Baum’s Bluesbenders and Canadian master of the acoustic guitar Dave Goodman will be making for an excellent evening’s music from 8pm.  More details HERE

Ian Hunter is rock royalty.  The youngsters out there won’t be so familiar with the name, but in the early 1970’s he was hanging out with David Bowie,  pictured with Freddie Mercury and even had Queen as a support group.  He and band Mott the Hoople were regulars on British TV’s iconic Top Of The Pops.  It was a time when shirt collars, trouser bottoms and even mens hair were all worn Big.  It was the golden age of Rock n Roll.
