The good news that British Blues legends Nine Below Zero are making an appearance in Bonn  this month (Harmonie, 28 Jan)  is tempered by the news that long time bass player and former Rory Gallagher band member Gerry McAvoy has now left the band to pursue solo projects.  His replacement though will be original member from the bands years at A&M Records – Brian Bethell.  Bonn will be one of the first shows featuring the changed line-up which still includes top Bluesharp man Mark Feltham and frontman/guitarist Dennis Greaves together with former Rory drummer Brendan O’Neill.
